Let me introduce myself. I’m David Pilvelait, aka The Boat Gear Guy. For over 30 years, I’ve been involved in the boating products business. I started out as the PR Director for BoatUS (Boat Owners Association of the United States) when we had over 60 stores selling boating gear & accessories across the country and later launched BoatUS.com in the early days of the Internet.
Since 2001, I’ve been a consultant specializing in boating products marketing, PR, social media and distribution development. Over the past three decades, I’ve helped introduce a lot of innovative, well-designed products for boats into the market.
